usually they are plug and play with a little modification.
If they have bulbs and ballasts then it should be ok if you are somewhat handy.

Ive been running HIDs in my XJ for almost a year.
Basically just order the H4 conversion kit, it will come with a wiring harness that plugs straight into the stock headlight connection. Its literally plug and play.

Also, make sure you have REAL projector headlights when running HIDs. There is nothing I hate more than a guy in oncoming traffic blinding me with his HIDs in a reflector housing.

I wish I still have the picture of those housings in my Jeep, because they probably the worst housings anyone could buy. they scatter the light so bad and I found that out the hard way, after being flashed multiple times by people every night. If you really want HIDs, dont skimp. Some things you can skimp on and be ok, but lighting shouldnt be one of them. I am currently running a NorCalmr2.com H7 6000k HID setup with true projectors and an added bonus of Green Angel eyes. I have pictures in my build thread, which the link is in my sig. If you like those, its like $180 for just the housings and 6000k or 8000k HID bulbs and its $280 with the Angel eyes and HID bulbs.

Definitely get projectors, otherwise like said previously..you will blind everyone and you can get ticketed.

I dont have a picture, but my buddy who just bought his first Cherokee, thanks to me ofcourse, has the delta H4 conversion. they look no different from what your stock sealed beams look. the only difference is you can change out the bulbs and keep the housings.

What are you looking for exactly with your lighting. Do you want HIDs, or just like a better light output from your sealed beams?

I have had good luck with VVME hid's kits with the ballasts and bulbs. You'll need to find housings elsewhere however.

Just make sure you retrofit some projectors in.
Go to the retrofitsource.com and you can get a nice set of bi xenon projectors for around $110. You'll have a nice high and low beam too.

Quadratec doesn't sell HIDs...

if your talking about the delta housings, those arnt HIDs. those are just plain housings with bulbs. like I said, and the electrical tech above me. you need projectors whether you buy housings with projectors already like what I have, or you do a retrofit with bi-xenons. anything else and your risking getting pulled over.

I just put a set of HID's in and now I am getting a clicking sound when the lights are off whether the Jeep is on or off. The clicking is coming from underneath the dash close to the headlight switch. It is where wires are connecting. It sounds like a relay but I dont know if it is. When I unplug it the clicking stops. When I unplug the lights from the oem connectors the clicking stops. The HID's I bought are 35 watts. Any ideas? Thanks

I am on my iPhone and it doesn't show whether or not you have a jeep set in your profile, so what's your model and year?
