Hello overyone, i currently have my hi lift sittin on welded mounts on my rear bumper. i would like it to be put on the rear end of my roof rack

Right now i have a 42" wide Kargo Master rack, and i am wanting to know what fab work i would need to make this happen. Better yet! if possible, maybe just buying a few parts at home depot to take care of it. what do you all suggest?

Looks like you can just drill two holes in those supports on the side, add some bolts washers spacers and nuts and it should be strong enough i would think

 

i was thinkin something simple like that. Would that look stupid at the back of the rack though? given that the jack considerably longer than the rack dimensions (42")

 

Possibly, mock it up and see how it looks.
