New to the forum. Had a 1990 Pioneer WAY back in the day. Just bought a 99 XJ Sport that I am happily wrenching on. Question: anyone seen a aftermarket interior dashboard HI-Lift mount for an XJ? Been cruising the net but haven't found one yet.

Well, over the gauges as in up on the dashboard. More like across the top of the dashboard. I saw a Wrangler once that had one mounted hat way. The more I think about it I am not sure that a jack would even fit up there. Probably just have to go with a roof mount. Or maybe under the back seat or something. Just thought i would throw it out there in case someone would go "Hell yeah I got one of those."

I dunno seems like an cumbersome place to mount one. And potentially dangerous? Originally Posted by Sweet Tony

I had one that went between the seat back top latches in my last XJ. Worked pretty good and didnt eat up q lot of space. I think it was made by river raider off road or something like that.

Nothing like having a hi-lift imprint left on your face due to an accident!Originally Posted by downs

I don't remeber it costing this much when I bought mine lol. But they get the job done and keep the Jack secure and out of the way. Definitely want to keep 30 lbs of steel and cast iron secured.
