1 gallon covers a 6 foot bed with 2 coats.

4 qts in a gallon,

so... 1 qt will cover 1.5 feet with 2 coats?

edit: but I remember reading somewhere, maybe on the herculiner directions that if you are doing a 8 foot bed to buy an extra qt, so that would be 2 feet a qt then

Ok so I will need the gallon. The cargo is 30"x45" times 4 plus the legs of the false floor.

I did the whole inside of my XJ with a gallon, 2 coats, and had a bit left.

Thanks. I am in the process of doing my floor pans and I am doing the whole thing in herc. But the cargo area already has the new metal in it so I wanted to get it done.
