Helped a 2WD F150 5.0 get unstuck
My buddy was "mudding" down off the side of Missouri bottoms road and pretty much his 2wd truck got stuck as hell. he couldn't get on the road either due to how sloppy the mud was(8-14in of water and mud ruts previously dug by someone else) Anyways, taking this great opportunity to have some fun with my XJ, Instead of just getting straps and pulling him out I decided to drive down in the mud myself and push his truck out from the front. I put it in 4 high and 1st-2nd and creeped up to his front bumper and started pushing, his truck kept staying in the ruts and actually I pushed him down in this pool of mud (16-20in deep) and kept pushing him until he got out. Then backed up and dug out that hole for fun
Anyways I pretty much convinced him not to go offroad or at least mudding with a 2wd truck stock, and that he should've gotten a jeep. Mine did all this easy as pie.

Yes, its a completely street tire. And yes, my jeep had no problem in the mud with my street tires. Tires aren't everything...

If anyone can tell me how to post pictures using the mobile iPhone version of the site I'll put up pictures. I was just sharing a good time I had with my jeep.

my '88 mj was 2wd and you'd never know it... of course not much on crawling but I never got it stuck either
when it comes to mud tires have a 'lot' to do with it, but of course your jeep rocks regardless

Some people are just trying to be dicks on here when I'm simply sharing a story of something I thought was cool. The site is about interest in our jeeps, not trolling. But DieselDaze that's awesome my dad use to have an 88 mj 2wd 5spd. Never took it off road though

I don't think we're trying to be jerks, it's just a little hard for me to believe you pushed a stuck, 4000+ pound F150 out of 20 inch deep mud with BFG Long Trial street tires.

That's my exact point of posting this is sharing how amazed I am that my jeep was able to do this with the tires it had in the conditions it was in. I'm honestly surprised my friends truck made it as far as it did. I have pictures of both our vehicles just dirty but I'll go get a picture of what we drove through later today after work.
