Interesting. Went in 2 years ago when I was looking to get one and they said they didn't sell and to go to Northern Tool. Out of curiousity I just looked online and nothing shows up for a HiLift style jack either , not even the "order online and pick up at the store". But, if you can get one through the AutoZone near you, that's pretty cool.

Yes you can get an actual Hi-Lift brand jack, basically anything you can get from 4WD Hardware or Quadratec they can get. BUT you actually have to go into the store and browse threw their paper catalogs, these are not things they stock but can be special ordered. I can tell you what you won't get from them hough....a good deal!Originally Posted by JeepingDan

EDIT: I guess I am not sure about Autozone in particular but this is the way it was with Big Wheel Rossi / Checker Auto Parts and Champion Auto parts. (Wow I have managed three different companies that are now defunct.)
I can't say 100% that they still offer them but I know for a fact that a couple years ago you could get actual Hi-Lift jacks. I set up the catalogs for several stores in my district and am quite familiar with them (a stack of catalogs about 5 feet high). I will say that 99% of the red shirts have no idea how to use the catalogs and most PSM's (Grey Shirts) don't bother with them either. The prices were kind of high and pulling out catalogs for customers was very time consuming because most customers just wanted to make a wishlist with you quoting prices for numerous things. Very seldom was a sale made through them and with the quantity of customers through the door, time restraints just make it easier to say "We don't have it and can't get it" Talk to a manager or assistant and you'll probably have much better luck... I was pretty sure this was company wide but it's possible it was regional....

Wow, I stand corrected. I'm amazed you can get them through Autozone. Like I said, when I went in they told me no, so maybe it's a location thing. i would be very careful about quality though. If it's not an actual HiLift, I would go with a Reese farm jack, but nothing other than one of those two.Originally Posted by irishexpat
