Default help me spend $50

I got a fifty dollar gift card to autozone. Right now my ideas are:

Enough rust covering rattle can to paint front fenders and rear quarters.

Off road lights for my front bumper

Headlight upgrade?

Any other ideas? I don't mind if they are more than 50....

Good luck finding one at AutoZone seeing how they don't sell them. Nominated!

Anyway, to answer the OP:
1. Oil, oil filter, air filter, SeaFoam
2. Gear oil, rear diff gasket, RTV sealer
3. K&N air filter
4. Driving lamps, wiring, better switch
5. SilverStar headlights
6. Spray paint (bed liner, flat, VHT nightshades for tinting taillights)
7. Tire inflator
8. Seat covers
9. Bring down the final costs for the TRE's and Drag link for a V8 ZJ (nice upgrade)

As you can see, the possibilities are endless.

Autozone does sale them (high lifts) but they are an order item... Just ask for the catalogs You'd be really surprised at what all they have to offer. Lift's, accessories, body panels, sliders, HD bumpers, winches, etc... At least they did 3 years ago when I was a manager for the company....

x2

Back in the day I managed a Big Wheel Rossi (Checker) store and we sold all kinds of stuff that had to be ordered. Most people just don't realize that parts stores sell all the same stuff as most 4x4 shops. Just have to ask to see a current catalog of what your looking for.

well the air filter is brand new....and theres about 100 miles on it since the last oil change....

when you say "cap" i assume you mean distributor cap....which mine doesnt have....

spark plugs are a good idea (which ones are best?), as are the jack and stands.

we'll see how i feel when i get to autozone tomorrow with a $1000 paycheck and a girlfriend out of the country and unable to judge my purchases....

Interesting. Went in 2 years ago when I was looking to get one and they said they didn't sell and to go to Northern Tool. Out of curiousity I just looked online and nothing shows up for a HiLift style jack either , not even the "order online and pick up at the store". But, if you can get one through the AutoZone near you, that's pretty cool.

im thinking i should buy the fluids i need (75w90 for the diff and dexIII for the tcase if i remember correctly), new spark plugs (gonna go for no-nonsense champions), and paint for my rusty panels (im thinking going for the bedliner stuff, but im not sure if i should get herculiner, duplicolor, or rustoleum)

anyone got any opinions on that stuff, feel free to weigh in.
