help me prioritise my list.
so im gonna give you my list. please put it in the order in which you would tackle it.
front u joints (annoying squeeking)
rear axle ( pinion comes in and out of yolk and makes vibe)
rear bumper needs custom mounts made and attached ( i fab)
complete my tube flares.
rip out the rest of the carpet
re wire lights ( took off roof and mounting on bar on the front bumper.
rock sliders
doors removeable.
fix front speaker wiring
clean the interior
figure out where the oil in the back of my engine is coming from
almost forgot:
replace bushings in whole front end ( long arms and such)
make roof rack for 4 tires.
yea its a pretty big to do list but thats why i bought it. i like to fix things haha

Take care of the mechanical first. A good looking XJ doesn't do you any good if it's not running.
- rear axle (definitely fix this first. hate to have a rear go out on the highway. Even worse if it's on the trail.)
- front u-joints
- replace bushings
- engine leak (last on the mechanical list only 'cuz this could take some time to find)
- bumper mounts (strong recovery points are your best friends off road)
- sliders
- lights
- flares
- rip the carpet
- clean interior
- doors
- speaker wire (why worry about this if you're removing the doors?)
- roof rack, but not for tires. 4 tires is a lot of weight up top. Put 'em in the back.
