Ok cans of glue I'd use two, use vinyl top adhesive, I do them on a regular basis and that's the best canned glue I've used. I spray my glue from a paint gun

You can get it any auto store. I used something in an orange can.

mine dont for the grab handles. i have little half moon cut outs on the edge of the head liner for the grab handles, so when you fold the material over the edge it conformed to the half moon cut out....

I have only used foam backed when I replaced a few. As its what is stock.

up to you, strait cloth will look as good as the backing (kinda like painting)
