headliner
I'm going to purchase this material to use as a headliner in my 94 jeep cherokee and am just looking for opinions on if it's a very practical material for this application. http://www.jacobsupholstery.com/inc/sdetail/93/279 and this adhesive http://www.emisupply.com/catalog/spr...m_term=SWI-092

right on man. thank you for your input. I was mainly curious if anyone knew how much of a difference not having the foam backing on that vinyl would make?

Doesnt really matters if it's foam backed or not. Foam back just works a little better and looks more professional and original (in my opinion). I used camo foam backed off eBay at $23 bucks a yard and advanced auto 3M adhesive. Not sagging a bit and looks AWESOME! So yeah, I would recommend foam backed, but it's all up to you. Here's some bad pictures of mine...

Like other have said, the material really doesn't matter. Just go with something you like.
And absolutely get the 3m spray adhesive. It's more expensive but it works great and about as close to what they use in factories as you can get. It's all we use at work (Nissan/Subaru/Kia dealership).
