I tugged a Wrongler out of a trail a couple weeks ago with a broken D35 shaft. He was running 33's and it broke just past the splines. We used his highlift to jack it up and pushed the wheel all the way back in, then rachet strapped both ends of the highlift shaft to the Jeep on both sides of the tire, greased up the sidewall, and then tightened up the straps. I was amazed at how well that worked. His tire stayed in place while we pulled him out of the trail.
