Default Has anyone actually seen one break?

I hear just about all of you talkin crap about the dana 35. Obviously is much smaller than desired but has anyone actually had one break on them? I havent actually herd of one breaking.. Cant seem to find anything about one breaking either.

When I get my new axles here in about 2 weeks I'll snap my d35 shafts for you. Seriously....

yes. i have seen numerous axles snap, twist the spline, c clips break and the axle start to walk out of the axle tubes, axle tubes turned into a smiley face.
they are a great axle

edit: forgot about chipped ring gears. d35 is the number one axle we work on here in the shop

Seen a few as well. One the flange came off of the shaft, luckily it was close to home to get a spare.

Hey xjoffroad, you want to give me some good tips on how to blow up my d35? I got some fullwidths on the way and figure ehhh screw it. Keep in mind I don't have a locker, but I do have 33s.
