Harneas bar
I have a 96 cherokee and want to put 4pt harness on my front seats. I haven't been able to find any harness bars that will work with out a full cage. I was wondering if anyone has made just the harness bar.

Not much use in having harnesses and no cage... I'd much rather be in a regular seat belt in a rollover with no cage.
But if you insist, the easiest way would be to buy the Rusty's roll bar and add a harness bar to it.

I didn't wanna put a full cage in it cuz I don't do that hardcore of wheeling, just the way I sit in my seat the belt is so uncomfortable. That and I wanna go doorless in the front too so I feel like like will make it a little more safe.

Your seat belt will be more than safe for going door less. What's uncomfortable about your seat belt? Could you get one of those adjuster things to help out? There's already little space on the back seat. If you put a bar in there'll be even less and all you gain is a harness. Don't forget you'll need new seats that can use a harness. Our stock seats won't support them.

theres been a couple bad xj wrecks this summer. these things just crumple
this. my 20 year old seatbelt locked me and my passenger perfectly in place when I flopped. stock seatbelts will do it. unless you're planning on doing a barrel roll or high speed stuff, I wouldnt bother messing with 4pt setup. unless you've got a cage and you want it

I always wear my seatbelt, even when driving slow on flat trails, but when on stuff like gokarts and the like, I always forget. I barrel rolled my buddys old 250cc china dune buggy a few years ago running about 40mph. it flipped 5-6 times and came to a stop upside down. somehow I was still sitting in the seat holding onto the steering wheel. The "rollcage" was flattened down almost touching my head.
I'm planning a basic cage in my XJ, but I will never use 4-5 point harnesses in an offroad rig. Even if I were to build a buggy, I would still install factory style retractable 3 point belts.
