So i tried doing a search but i am on my cell phone and it isn't the best. So when i turn it over (everytime) it take a few seconds before it fires over. Any ideas on what causes this.

Next time you go to start the Jeep, turn the key on but don't start it. Do it a couple of more times. Now see if it starts quicker. If it does your fuel pump/regulator are getting weak and not holding pressure when the Jeep is shut down.

How about the basics? Spark plugs, plug wires, dist cap, dirty injectors?

Has it always taken a few seconds to fire or just start doing it recently?

I'd try some fuel injector cleaner or seafoam in the fuel tank and see what that does until you upgrade your injectors. Have you replaced the fuel filter? (I forgot it's not part of the fuel pump like mine is)

New starter? If not, try taking it apart and cleaning it.
