Grand cherokee hitch reciever fit a cherokee?

It should with minor drilling on the hitch. It will hang REALLY low though. I get mine from the u pull junkyard. Never spent more than $20 on an XJ specific hitch, no mods needed.

Does anyone know the measurements for 1997 Jeep Cherokee front and back receiver hitches?
