How much force does it take to fire off the air bag ?

Yup, I pulled it out my Mustang, KK2514.
Just had to see what it would do in the dragster..

Not too bad, a mid 9sec. pass.
It blew the clutch on the high gear shift.
I removed the engine after that as it was worth
too much money to race it anymore..
Ford only made 487 of thoughs cars in 1970.

So that is why I asked this question.
Take a look at the pics I posted .
Is that enough of a hit to fire it off ??
If so, is the sensor stuck and ready to go off
at any time ???
I am looking now to just disconnect the air bag
thing.
The car my Jeep hit was totalled, my jeep is just fine...
Just looks ugly...
That's why I am looking for a front bumper.
From what I see on the Jeep there is no such thing as a functional
front bumper, it is just a piece of plastic that looks like it is a bumper.
I just wish to make the Jeep look half decent.
