Got the XJ, 87on it's way to an LSD
The mechanic is asking questions I can't answer. I used to have book marks to the exact stuff he needs and my browser switch/bookmarks import has put an end to that for now.
There was a folder with descriptions of each model and year and what was stock for that vehicle.
Would someone please post a link to that folder if I've described it clearly enough?

No, I tried a google search on 87XJ specs and found the folder I needed for the mechanic to hopefully order the right parts.
