Awesome! How about some interior shots? I want to see that column shifter. The police package XJs are badass

I have already pulled the seats, welded the drivers in three places and put a set of saddle blanket on black covers on!

Default Seats & Console

I am thinking of a custom console since I don't have a shifter on the floor in the way. And a set of nice replacement seats from some sports car in the Junkyard. Any Ideas or photos to offer?

That is one sweet XJ. Makes me wish I had looked for a police package one. May even start looking now before I get too involved with my current XJ.

Man, that is AWESOME. I am very jealous of that column shifter. Badass for sure. Why don't you like the center console that is included? What do you want to get out of it, exactly, if you build a custom one?

Default Console

Large Lockable storage with a couple of good cup holders, plenty of useable space. I have a 3"x5"x12' piece of walnut just beggin for the table saw
Or I might get me some Baltic birch Plywood (13 plies) to do it. I do like Hickory

It says 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, but they are Drums all around.
high idle switch only works in park or neutral. its pin A12 (gray wire) on PCM.
I got it to work while in gear but as soon as there is a higher torque demand, it return back to regular idle. so like mentionned previously.

Good cooling in trafic, AC, higher oil pressure not to mention better during winching.

Default a/c fan

I still need to get my a/c heater blower working on all speeds. It just stopped chaging speeds and only works on low. I went to switch it and when I rotated the dial (this time) it wouldn't change. Not sure it is the fan switch or the resistor? A/c still makes cold, just not blowing out very fast.

Probably your resistor, it should be located under the glovebox.

does the resistor make it only work on low? For me it only worked on high. Autozone has the resistor for $15. easy job in old style xj's. New style xj's are a pita to do most of the interior work on.

I believe it can. If certain speeds aren't working on the dial, usually the BMR is to blame.

How difficult a swap is that? For older vs newer XJs?
