Will be a daily driver. Will put the carpet back in. But I am debating putting vinyl in the front. Any websites I can get it from cheap?

X10.....you typed it before I could. The floor pan gets super hot, its like standing too close to a camp fire, but theres no place to go!!!

The bed liner is still a good idea, the floor pans on these seem to rust from the inside out.

Living in Wisconsin (and the winters here), I get a new battery every 4-5 years. Nothing worse than having to deal it in the cold. X2 on the bed liner before the new carpet. (spray cans)

Bed lining the floor then put carpet back down would be the way to go I plan on doing the same thing. Congrats on your XJ. I love the 2nd gen style.
