I don't have pics but some mount them to the front or back bumper.

Roof rack if you have it.

Plenty of places.

You could always just look through build sections and such to see what others have done.

This is what I have, but now I have a roof rack so it seems like I wasted $60. Ohh well. Only downside is you have to find another place to mount your spare tire.

I like that inside mount! Good idea cause people around here will steal it if you mount it on the rack or hood.

considering the hi-lift jack only gets used during wheeling trips .... i was think of taking this approch :

installing this mounting bracket (link below) to my rear bumper & only attaching the jack when going wheeling :: that way its out of the elements and at same time not taking up space in the jeep.. what do you think about this idea ?

Link to mounting bracket ::

i've had mine attached to my warrior roof rack mounts for 7 years now, winter and summer, (not winter driven tho), and other than a few squirts of pb blaster once or twice a year, it still works as the day i bought it new.

personally, i wouldn't put it on the hood. too close to my face in case of an accident.
also, you wouldn't know if it fell off the rear bumper on the highway and through the windshield of another car. i couldn't live with that thought.

properly secured inside the jeep, or a proper roof rack mount with a pad lock for added security.
it would just suck having to try to get it out of the back when you're loaded up for camping/wheeling.
