I, like many of the mebers of CF are avid craigslist browsers.
Heck, my last XJ came from there.
But I have been shying away from it lately.
Not because of the scares and bogus harmful listings.
More because I have been strapped for $$$. With the Christmas Holiday and those unforgettable bills that always sneak up on ya at the last minute.
This past summer I started with the TJ flare mod on my 94 Sport "Lil Red"
I grabbed a pair of rear flares off of eBay for about $50.
I NEEDED them as the tire/rim combo was protruding out past the originals and Pennsylvania State Inspection would not pass it that way.
Front flares completed. I put the rears on the back-burner for a bit.
That bit came and went. No $$ for any extras.
Last night I was just fooling around on the computer when Mrs Howler said,"Why don't ya check out craigslist. You havent been on there in awhile."
Search word: Jeep
Max amount: $1000
Not that I have 1k to spend, it just weeds out ALOT of unwanted stuff BUT leaves enough to make it exciting.
I found this listing : http://allentown.craigslist.org/pts/1529421021.html
I do not have to tell you where they are RIGHT NOW.
(Hint: Lil Red has a litle extra "junk in the trunk")
A long way to say: Hey look what I stole for $30.
