i'm with defiance on this one.
you should be able to get it back in place with only a couple ripples to show. a window will fit and seal back up with little effort.
if you can't get it to satisfactory, then you can cut. but i'd do whatever i could before it gets chopped. but that's just me. i don't like chopped xj's.

A porta-power hydraulic ram and some patience and I bet you could get it back in shape. It's not ever going to look new again but it's most likely repairable, and look at the upside, while your spending all that time repairing it, you'll have alot of time to think about why too many beers and wheeling don't mix!

So I got home yesterday night and found a 10-day notice to comply or be evicted paper on my door... turns out my jeep is "inoperable" by my landlord's standard and i had to get rid of it. tried calling him and explaining what happened and that this is my daily driver as it is, blah blah blah, he wouldnt hear of it... even if i had the roof fixed by a shop, he wouldnt hear of it... so I, out of pure stupidity, sold my Jeep... at least to a friend, so I know its in good hands... Might buy it back later on if I can get it fixed... Didnt really have any options, I didnt have a place I could park it for the time being and definitely could NOT afford to be evicted... Im in the process of contacting my lawyer and figuring out if there was a loophole or something I could do to get my Jeep back without the LL being a PITA... =(

so I am unable to get my 2-door XJ back because of some loophole in the contract i signed to lease the house I am currently living in... apparently in an article it says "NO DAMAGED VEHICLES SHALL BE PARKED ON THE PREMISES, ALL VEHICLES MUST BE IN RUNNING ORDER WITH NO DAMAGED BODY PARTS" and so on, so I lost this battle =(
on another note, I might be picking up a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Has the I6 4.0, auto tranny, NP242 transfer case, NOT AWD... Whew. No plans at the moment other than just doing all the maintennance and getting emissions tested then tabbed...
