One fine evening, me and a couple buddies decided to give into drinking for the night and polished off a couple packs of beer and coronas (and the berry mimiosas my darling girlfriend made). Until one of us had the smart idea to go wheelin in the back yard!

Tis was all fun and games and the mud was fresh gooey and wet. Amiss the beer I had been drinking and driving
and wheelin in the backyard, I spun out a little too fast across the slick field and decided to clear some brush in the back hill side.

Little do I know is that I looked one direction, one blink, and I ended up on the side of the hill...

So morale story, DONT go drinking and off-roading, because YOU could be the next Jimmy-John cutting down trees and brush in the backyard and getting stuck, at 3 in the morning!
Haha, luckily this happened on MY property, otherwise I wouldve gotten a nice fat citation for a number of things
Havent pulled the XJ out just yet, waiting on a buddy of mine to come with his TJ mounted with a winch... Today will be an interesting day for sure
More pictures to come!

took a look at the rig, nothing mechanical is broken (whew) but the drivers rear took quite a hit.... see pictures... not too sure on what to do, might chop the top, but i like having a covered rear... might figure out how to make it a "removeable top" like a wranger... havent seen anyone do that before, so i might as well be the first! but as of right now, the girlfriend is PISSED... she bought me the jeep for cryin out loud....

but im just glad no one else got hurt, because we took a look at the impact zone and if it hadnt been for the tree (the one that caused window breakage and roof damage) we wouldve for sure rolled down the hill... yes, dumb move on my part to drink and drive, but just glad no one got hurt

claim it on the insurance... hmmmm... not too bad of an idea! i'll just cut a small tree and have it "land" on the rig, take some pictures and claim it to the insurance
but lookin at the damage, wouldnt they total the title?

Might be able to knock it back in to place a little with some big hammers and friends...
Wont be the same ever again, but you should be able to get it to almost normal. Maybe even enough that you can put a window back in

i'm with defiance on this one.
you should be able to get it back in place with only a couple ripples to show. a window will fit and seal back up with little effort.
if you can't get it to satisfactory, then you can cut. but i'd do whatever i could before it gets chopped. but that's just me. i don't like chopped xj's.
