Before i asked about a good winch mount and i think i found one. I was wounderin about all your opinions sence you all are more educated in the build of an XJ. Do you think it is strong enough for an 8000lb winch?

Thats designed for an ATV and not a jeep, after you figured out the right way to tie it into the frame you would be better off buting one thats made for the XJ. Like the backbone from DETOURS

Pretty sure the BackBone is possibly still, the only stand alone winch platforms out there for the XJ.
I maybe passing right through Greensboro in the next couple weeks, might be able to get it to you for 'nothing', 'notta', 'free shipping'....if you can meet me at an exit ramp/commuter parking lot......I'd be passing thru around 8am.

Just a thought.

DUDE454, Detour runs http://www.detoursusa.com/ might as well just order it from there and they can ship it to you.

Speaking of the Backbone do you make one without the Winch Plate and just the D-Ring Tabs?
