good news is they found the jeep, bad news is the insurance won't sell back cause of liability issues. the guy the police were looking for to question about it was the one that took it. 24 yr old dirtbag who also was being saught after for stealing some military flags from a cops brothers seal team, the brother recently died, and had a warrant for beating his girlfriend got pulled over and arrested for dui.guilty on all accounts. our wonderful county attourney plea bargained with the pos and got him a couple months jail time if he pays restitution. couple months go by he gets out, breaks parole and disapears again, and oh yeah, no restitution. way to go county attourney. guy never even really kept a job before and this isn't his first round of offenses. so anyone in the AZ,NM,UT and CO area, if you meet a navajo by the name Ryson Bitsene, let me know, there are a few people looking for him.

On a happy note, i finally was able to get a neighbor to sell me his 1986 comanche 4x4 cutom manual. been eyeballing it for 4 years. only 120k miles and almost no rust. only had it for 3 weeks and love it more every day. soa and 31's here i come.

Wow they just found it. So it was all intact? What does liability have to do with not getting it back

 

Awesome they found it! I would be completely ticked though about the insurance, i would fight tooth and nail. Its your jeep, how can they keep it?!?! Hope justice is served, good luck.

 

His insurance company paid him for his loss, it's theirs now. They won't sell it back to him for fear of being sued if something were to happen and he was injured or killed.

 

That's lame

 

Hope you at least got a fair value for it.

 

Don't worry about retribution it's not worth it, pick up & move on.
