you want 75 or 80W90 gear oil, ultra black RTV and some brake cleaner.

what locker are you getting? front or rear?

if it's front, you should get some new ring gear bolts and blue locktite.

Im getting a rear Powertrax no slip locker. And what is RTV and do i really need the break cleaner? Just a little low on cash because i just bought a class 4 hitch and the locker.

From what I hear thats a good score on the locker.

RTV is the liquid gasket you need to make a new gasket for the diff cover. Make sure to scrape all the old RTV of with a razor.

Brake cleaner, auto zone brand is only like $6 a can, highly recommended to clean off the old oil/deposits/metal shavings from the ring and pinion and inside of the diff cover. Nice thing about it is that it dissolves quickly and makes cleaning much easier.
