Well its been a little while since anything broke on my jeep but the brake line going to the rear axle rusted through and decided start leaking. Luckily I was only down the block from my place so I was able to get back. Just fixed on on the mother-inlaw car so I get to use my double flare kit again! First one I bought was from harbor freight and that was a mistake. Purchased a craftsman double flare kit and every flare I made was perfect. It did cost about 4 times as much though.

Ok looked at the line and I decided to replace the whole line since it looked pretty rusty. I have a question about the connection below the proportioning valve. Not where it goes in to the valve but below it there is a connection that looks like its from the factory. should I put that in the new line or just run a solid piece all the way back?
