First post here sorry if I’m doing anything incorrectly and this is a poor question but can someone tell me what this is?

What is the green switch?

Something a previous owner added. Could be for aux lights, etc. You will have to trace the wires to find out where they go.

Yup, definitely aftermarket. What, if anything, does it do?

Do you have aux lights, or any electrical equipment that doesn't look factory?

It lights up when flipped to the left and there is some sort of mini air compressor inside the back 🤷‍♂️

Intriguing, tell us more - or post a piccie (or link to one).

Do hope there's a relay in there somewhere, that el cheapo switch doesn't look up to carrying much current.
