None of that stuff will amount to much compared with altering your driving style. Keep your foot out of it and slow way down and your economy will go up.

Go here to find out how the pros do it.

Snorkel or Cowl induction is the only true CAI.

Uhm.....Do what I do and buy an "eco-friendly" vehicle...mine is an 01 nissan frontier 2.4l 2wd. I rarely drive my Jeep anymore, normally when its nasty out. Like tonight, 8-11" snow and ice.

Over inflate your tires by about 2 pounds, put a lower viscosity motor oil in but not lower then 5w-20, check and possibly change all your other fluids(differential, front and back, Transmission), replace your clogged air filter, clean your throttle body, run seafoam through the tank for 2 tanks in a row(<my opinion solely and I only use Bp Gas), AND lastly BUT most important keep your RPM's below 2,000.. enjoy your +20mpg( or at least I do )

Get an ecu chip
Exhaust
Change up gear ratio if u have tires that big
Go for a "ram air" intake And a throttle body spacer.
G3 Fuel economy Spark Plugs
Don't drive in 4wd on the street or when not needed. It takes more power to turn the front differential.

Shouldnt of bought a lifted XJ if one was worried about miles per gallon.

Brand new these things were only rated 17 city and 21 highway.

These threads are so pointless and always full of useless info. TB spacer is a waste and the e3 plugs are even more of a waste.

Hood spacing as in putting a block of metal or wood between the hood and its hinges to raise the rear of the hood?

BAD idea.
