This is the second time my check engine light goes on the day after I get gas. The second time I go to look for the culprit and what do I find? The gas station attendant can't screw the freaking gas cap on for the second time in a row. Wish I could just pump my own damn gas

Anyone ever have this happen to them?

You're in a states that can't pump their on gas? Lol damn that sucks.

Listen to them screw it on, listen for the clicks. If the problem persists then talk to them. Or go to a different gas station

It's actually illegal to pump your own gas here in Jersey, some attendants will yell at you

We've got too many country folk here for that mess. Hell i doubt most people would be able to find the gas tank when a guy pulls up in a tractor to get diesel fuel.

I dated a jersey girl once (bad idea I know) so I'd ride my motorcycle to visit her from Delaware. I still pumped my own gas because I was not going to awkwardly sit there while a guy held a nozzle between my legs... I never got anything more than weird, hateful looks. No yelling and never any police involvement lol just do it yourself until a cop tells you otherwise.

Gas is actually cheaper in Jersey than most of the surrounding states and they pump it a double bonus in my book.
