There would be fights every day about pumpers being to slow if that were put into affect around here.. Even if they were going proper speed. I know i would, when im in a rush, I like to do things on my own.

 

I was in nj about 10 or 12 years ago and didn't know you couldn't pump your own gas.I got out and as soon as i touched the pump had a guy yelling at me saying its illegal for me to pump it.I had a 65 impala the best part was after i sat back in my car letting him do it he had to ask me where is the gas cap is at on it.He looked at me funny when i said flip down the license plate.

 

I've had the check engine light come on...while driving on a steep windy road--so of course first thought is the road killed the engine. Then I remembered reading--somewhere--about loose gas caps...

pretty lame that the gas station attendant can't use a cap right, when the whole point of those stupid laws was that the regular car owner is too dumb to use a pump and will overflow or top it off too much or whatever

 

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard...

What's the reason behind this law?

This one is actually enforced apparently.. I've never seen a two for one deal at ANY bar in GA...

I think it's funny how you complain about the check engine light. Most of us the check engine light just stays on all the time

Hah! I did the same thing back in '01. That was also the cheapest I've paid for gas since, paid $0.96 a gallon.
