Default Full XJ restoration???

Has anyone ever seen or done a full xj restoration back to stock? I mean on the level of an old muscle car. I know its prob not the most popular resto project but it sure would be interesting to see.

I dunno call me crazy but I was watching overhaulin' the other day and I was thinking why can't one of these episodes have like a 87 xj getting overhauled. That would be sweet.

I have seen an old CJ done on overhaulin before...certainly wasn't anything close to stock once they were done.

The cost of any restoration would exceed the value of the XJ when completed, so it would take someone with money that didn't care about his investment. In other words, it'd be rare to see it happen.
