I am not trying to tell anyone to put one on , but someone PLEASE tell us all what benefits are there to not have one on the road. At least one benefit, seriously. And I am not saying you will die or rollover or all that crap, just how it improves anything to not have one on the freeway.

LOL. I love guys that say they can out do someone they have never met.
I was actually quite impressed with the handling of my Cherokee without any sway bars. From all the talk I figured it was a death trap.
Truth is you get some boat rocking around corners. But I can still squeal the tire from going to fast without any worries.
I drive it everyday to work and back. And now I actually like the feel around corners. I don't mind the lean at all.
Even with two broken leafs in the rear it seems more than stable enough for me. Maybe for you speed racers out there it wont cut it? But I do my aggressive driving on the trail, not the road.

Uhm.... I could care less what you do but since disconects are only $70.00 running the xj on the road without one is freaking stupid in my opinion. Damper has nothing to do with safety but sway bar does no matter what steering or shocks you have. No sway bar is for offroading, just like having 5psi in your tires is for offroading. You put the air back in before you drive on the road.

Swaybar-less on my 93 with 5150s f/r was fine, no sways on my 98 bb'd on oem yellow bilsteins was SCARY, and no sways the way I am now has less roll than a stocker.
It depends on your setup and what you feel comfortable with.

Eh, I don't think it was, but now you made it that way. Driving without sways isn't illegal... Like the things you tried to compare it to.

Haha idk man. I can only think of one guy I know who runs it and it's to hide his DW. My junk will be pretty stable on short arms and bilsteins
I'm not going to bother with a sway bar
