Default front and rear end?

I want to change the front and rear end on my Jeep its a 1990 xj 2 door 4.0 with a 5" lift with 35s came with the tow package so I don't know if that makes a difference. Any ideas what to put under it?

rockwells.

what do you plan on doing with your jeep?

gonna go with a bigger tire ever?

why do you want to change them out?

do you want full width or close to stock?

there are a lot of determining factors here.

you good at fab work or know someone that is? all new mounts must be welded to the new diffs.

I don't know how much fab you want to take on but, if you're wanting a bolt on deal find a 30 front out of a 95+ xj with the 297 u-joints and a 8.25 rear axle probably out of the same jeep. You could go with Dana 44 rear out of a 87-89 xj but that's going to be more difficult to find and probably cost you a pretty penny. Rubi axles could probably be made to work without to much fab, the tj style front should be a bolt in swap (not sure on driveshaft) but it is a low pinion, the rear would need spring perches welded on and shock mounts. Ford 8.8 rear is a common swap.

78-79 ford would be best.

What size tires you planning on running? What kind of wheeling? Lockers?
