So its the law here in ontario to have a licence plate up in front of your vehicle..just wondering where all you guys have yours if have custom/fabbed bumpers.

 

I dont have mine done yet but i am going to get the licence plate bracket off like a 79 malibu (gas filler tube is behind plate). It is spring loaded and flips down. i will put in infron of the reviever i am incorperating into my bumper for like a hidin hitch look

 

I reused the stock license plate holder for now, when I eventually get a winch I will have to change it though.

Thanks! I've seen quite a few peoples mounted to their grill, but others also make something to attach it to the winch fairlead or hawse. I plan on doing the fairlead/hawse type mount.

what kind of bumper are you gonna get? mine has a receiver mount, so i welded some diamond plate to a hunk of sq tube, pull pin, remove plate , insert winch..


or if you are gonna have a winch on there all the time i have a buddy who has made a bunch of these i think he wants 30 bucks each..

 

ok i see your bumper now make a plate and bolt it to the bumper.. you could get a ticket with it in your window
