Default front end recovery points besides aftermarket front bumpers?

i have a pair of rugged ridge tow hook brackets and hooks but honestly, they suck. yeah theyve saved me quite a few times but the brackets bend way too easily. i have to admit, one time i pulled from an angle and deff bent the bracket but the other hook has only been pulled strait ahead and still, bent. what front end recovery points are you guys riding with? im looking to get something else in replace of these brackets, dont really want a hitch reciever in front though

when using that set up for recovery you need to hook into both of the hooks not just 1. thats why they got bent

Says who? Good tow hook brackets won't bend unless you're yanking hard from like a 90 degree angle

This Iron Rock setup is pretty nice, very sturdy http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...t_Code=IR-XTHM There's also these which a lot of people have said are great https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f73/hd...-xj-mj-161912/ I made one of my own similar to it, mounts with 3 bumper bolts and the 3 bolts under the frame where the swaybar bolts up. No problems so far.

I've always used both at once. Why wouldn't you? It puts an equal amount of stress on everything.

If they're bending that easy just have a local welder weld some gussets in on em.

I got the brackets in the the above link. I put them on this spring and haven't had the need to stress them yet.
