Hi guys... I have a lot of slack in my front diff too.. or maybe not. I can move the front wheels back and forth a least an inch before the transfer case shaft engages... Feels and sounds like a lot of slop in that diff...but what is normal? tks

Okay.. hmmmm Think I'll take off the front diff cover poke around anyway just to convince myself (seeing is believing) that all is okay. Any real red flags to be on the wath for?

Metal shavings. Gear pieces. Milky fluid. No fluid.

And only use the RTV for resealing that is intended for gear oil. That means none of the rainbow colored crap.

Cruiser mine is 90 the other guys is either 45 or 90 not me. I'm not trying to waste time or anything I'm just needing advise.
