I just drove my xj to ihop for unlimited pancakes and was going 50. There was no death wobble, no weird noises, and drive as smooth as my dads E320.
Its pretty weird never has drove like this

Calm before the storm?

 

x2! That makes me laugh... I have moments with mine where there is nothing that can compare to how amazing it is to drive it ... then there are others... like every morning when it's cold... it kicks and punches like crazy! Still wouldn't trade it for the world though.

 

That's so funny, I just got my jeep back and was driving a dodge caravan in the mean time. When I drove my jeep after getting it back I thought to myself, "Man this thing is loud and bumpy, but I freaking love it!!!"

 

I get into mine in the morning and go to shift from 1st to 2nd and almost can't even because it doesn't want to shift... but oh the masochistic love that i have for it!

 

So how were the pancakes?

 

i know how you feel, my girl has been running so good lately, its been getting better too lol, unless i just got used to it again, cause she was in the shop for 2 weeks, but i was so happy to hear all those creaks and groans again, i missed it so much haha, our jeeps are those kinds of vehicles that when we get old we'll think back and be able to remember them vividly lol
