Hi I'm new to the jeep world I just purchased 2 97 grand cherokee could any body tell me if and we're I could buy frame rails

 

frame rails? or a new chassis? if your frame is bad it's gonna be a complete body swap. look for the body mounts underneath (should be 8 in total, 4 on each side) and a part number near the middle section. call up O'reilly and see if they stock jeep grand Cherokee frames

Not all of them. There were a few that had full frames. The Canadian Navy special ordered a couple hundred.

 

Wow that's interesting, never heard that! Part of me doubts that the OP has one of them

It's not true, I made it up. It's a joke. All XJs and ZJs are unit-body constructed.

 

Last frame suv jeep made was the fsj,After that everything but the wrangler was unibody.So what is wrong with the frame rails on it ?

I guess I miss spoke as frame rails it is unibody so how do I fix it just weld some steel on there or is there unibody section that I can by cut out the old and weld in the new

 

Probably be easier and safer to find a new jeep if yours is that bad. Unless your just that savvy and skilled.
