It's a decent set-up but no gem.

A 92 4.0HO ax-15 4x4 swb in mint condition would be a Gem.

"mint" condition and offroad vehicle don't really go together. Sorry to all you guys who bought your jeeps cuz they're "super clean"... No offense, but to me that makes you a pansy I'd be all over this truck if I had the chance.

Just your opinion. To each his own.

I think the Renix op system is better than OBD.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. So, we're all supposed to buy junk that's falling apart just because we plan on taking it off road? Or, we're supposed to abuse and beat up our own Jeeps, just because they're Jeeps?

Yeah. Right. My XJ also happens to be my daily driver. You know, the way I get to and from work, or to the store, or to my girlfriend's, or well, basically anywhere I want to go.

If taking care of my XJ, keeping it washed after playing in the mud to prevent rust, not abusing the ever loving fudge out of it and ensuring it's in my life for a looonnnngggg time makes me a pansy, then by god, I am glad to be a pansy.

Your backasswards bro... I didn't say junk. But if you're building something to take out in the woods why the hell would you buy something you feel is too pretty to scratch? If I'm looking for an offroad vehicle, I look for SOLID, not clean, and by clean I mean mild blemishes like dents and scratches. Rust is always a no-no and I wash my rig too. It's funny as hell to watch some pansy talk about his big bad jeep, and when you go to see it, you can tell it's probably never even been in grass past the lowest edge of the rim. Just like I tell alot of my biker buddies, all that chrome won't get you home.

P.S., my XJ has been my daily driver for a couple years now, and I do wheel it hard... That's EXACTLY why I bought a Jeep... an XJ in particular, because they're TOUGH enough to TAKE IT! These aren't barbie jeeps...

Ok, that makes your point a lot more clear. I understand now.

I definitely don't go hardcore wheeling, but I'm not afraid to hit a trail and fling some mud and all of that. I just can't afford to abuse my XJ.

Sometimes people look at it and ask why it's so clean all of the time... Well, I DO detail cars for a living, so it takes very little effort to wash mine whenever it's dirty.

However, I'm not by any means afraid to get it dirty.
