The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is what companies can help with the wiring aspect of this. I know you can take the complete harness, ECM, PCM, and instrument panel out of the donor vehicle and rig it up but I was looking more towards having a wiring harness that would plug into the stock jeep computer so it will still run the stock instrument panel (because of the microprocessor) and use the GM PCM to run the transmission. Anyone find out information on this please let me know!!

8 years. I think that's a record for a zombie thread.

If all your going to use it for is off-road, why not go with a cheap carburated 350 smallblock with HEI distributor with a Muncie 4-speed box behind it? I'm sure you could find an NP208 t/case for it, right?

I realized that, it's just my kind of a project, something we used to do in my time. When you could put stuff together and drive it without worrying about electronics and emissions. Back when it was fun!

My turn ..........lol. I knew you could do a LS swap into these, but this is the first picture I have seen and this is bad ***. I am a Chevy and LS guy and fairly new to Jeeps. I have often wondered about doing an install of a V6 from a 2000ish GM rwd car into a Jeep.
