Do not run one as I have a 60 sitting around. But from what I have herd they will take up to a 38 unlocked and with stock shafts. Some push it more than others. 4.10 gears are pretty comin to find in them as any truck. If you add a tarra low kit to your case you should have no issues.

Depends on shafts. Stock 28 spline are good for 33s and 31 spline are good to about 37s. Aftermarket makes shafts up to 40 spline and will hold 44s. The weak link is the center section but aftermarket takes care of that as well.

A 9 inch is hard to break unless you under build it.I have a currie 9 inch 31 spline strange 3rd member in my mustang. Its lasted 4 years with 600hp plus spray on 10.5 slicks. If cash is tight the 8.8 with a super 88 kit weld the tubes fully and a truss will take a beating.
