Default Fog lights: clear or yellow lense?

What is better for driving in thick fog at night- clear or yellow lens fog lights?

What is the difference?

Also: Do fog lights work better if mounted on the bumper area or roof?

FOG light=yellow/amber
DRIVING light=white

Keep it 55w or less, and the amber might be illegal on the road.

Not true.. our stock ones are clear.
Go with clear. Yellow looks like ****, and offer no advantages.

Yellow is suppose to cut though the fog better than clear, but I think yellow looks strange.

Load of crap. The bassis of that is based on physics of very small particles. But it doesnt extrapolate to the size of drops of water.

I've had yellow before on my dodge pickup and noticed some better visibility with them on but I saw the white fog lenses advertized and was wondering if they're better.
I will give them a shot.

Was a joke. JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Motor, it's how ricers define parts that are straight out of Japan. And a lot of Civic owners LOVE yellow fogs, as well as Scubbie owners.
