Yes they are after the muffler past 9 inches away so I will find a way

ok. so all you have to do is buy a universal hanger that has the metal strap comming off the top of it. then run a sheat metal screw and attach it.

like this one. then you just put a standard u clamp at the bottom of it. and ur done.Fagettaboutit.

Anyone who has listened to thos clips on the first page... donot go by the 1st clip with the spr 40. it is missleading. that is a muffler welded into the stock exhaust. i hear the diff.

the spr 44 clip is a 2.5" c/b possibly with a high flow cat. thus making the spr 44 sound deeper. put that same set-up on the spr 40 and you will be able to hear that the 40 does have aslightly deep tone. just my 2cents.

Flowmaster’s Super 44 Muffler uses the same Delta Flow Technology found in our larger Super 40 mufflers.
As on Flowmastrs website.

I just want a loud idleing muffler that stays loud and deep on the throttle...would that be a glass pack

I had to go to the dealer for a mopar 02. its something to do withe the voltage signal in the aftermarket ones not being corrrect or somethin like that. i 've read others on here having simmilar issues. on mine the 02 sensor bulbs were noticably different. good luck and lets see some pics of ur xj.

Thanks OEJ! I just hope I don't run into any problems with the O2 plugging into my cat.!! I'm still a bit virgin with the Jeep but I'm trying my best and learning as much as I can!!!

Ok Ill have to do some tinkering with some pipe to get the 2.5" to work on the inlet side. Shouldn't be to bad just need to expand a piece of 2.25 some.
