40 is louder. At 50 mph its quiet and on up. Center in offset out. Also keep in mind that if you a re putting this to ur stock system u need. 2.25 in - out onthe muffler.

I got mine from muddfrog. He's @ performance-curve.com I paid 160. Shipped and I got the catback, highflowcat and hangers. I did haveto add a small section of pipe. I just went to the parts store and got a 2.5 pipe. Put all on myself and then had it welded.

Im waiting for my Super40 myself!! For 35 bucks, couldnt beat it!! Not really worried about what it sounds like, it isnt a hotrod. My Jeeps rpms hardly go over 2500 rpms. As long as it performs and replaces my rotted stock muffler and helps me save some fuel!! I personally like the 44! But you saw the video's , go from there!! Muddfrog is where to go for your exhaust sytem.. Best prices hands down

Actully it doesn't. Its because of the smaller case. The 44 has the delta flow tech. And the40 doesn't. As I said. The 40 is bigger thus giving a deeper tone. They are very simular though. I got the 44 because it will add more power when I stroke my motor out. And that's because of the delta flow baffles.

Not tryin tobe a jerk..... I. Just don't want you to be missinformed.lol.

Haha. You know ill tell ya; after I ordered my exhaust.... I got the funny feelin that I ordered the wrong muffler. And I did. I wanted the 40. Then I just said the hell with it and kept it. That's when I read about the delta flow on flows website. I talked to a gut there and he told me the 44. Is bettetr when u add hp to it. So I'm just tellin you what I was told. So get the 40 if u want to. Either one is awesome imo.

There is no wrong choice here.

Im hearing alot about the 44 so I think Im leaning towards the 44 now. also the 44 did sound better in the videos. ebay has them for about $63 w/ shipping. Has anybody found a better price elsewhere? Do I need an inlet size of 2.5"? Im going to make a 2.5" tailpipe. I have a pipe bender at work.

i did that and i love the way mine sounds. just a little info for ya. Do not buy an after market o2. i went through 2 of them in a month.

I had to go to the dealer for a mopar 02. its something to do withe the voltage signal in the aftermarket ones not being corrrect or somethin like that. i 've read others on here having simmilar issues. on mine the 02 sensor bulbs were noticably different. good luck and lets see some pics of ur xj.
