flat roof rack
So i was looking around and i saw a lot of people saying that their roof racks were killing their gas mileage. So i came across a flat roof rack. Does anybody have one or have any input on one. I kinda like it but is it practical as far as a roof rack goes. How much will it affect gas mileage?

It will definitely not be as secure as a boxed-in roof rack. Even if you strap things down, there's nothing to reinforce its contents. I wouldn't recommend it.
Even the boxed-in roof racks have enough room for air to move through. It's not going to affect your mpgs too much... wind drag won't be terrible.
