I need some help with my 1991 Jeep Cherokee. I put in a new battery and the lights keep flashing. I used the key fob to stop the lights flashing but it didn't stop and the engine will not start. How do I fi this?

 

Try locking and unlocking the driver door from outside with the key.

 

Unhook positive battery terminal and let it sit a couple minutes. Let the security system reset. I had to do the same on mine. Its a 2000 and came with the key fob.
