Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted here. The husband and I are expecting baby #2 next summer, so I'm looking for some suggestions on car seats.

Our older daughter is still in a car seat, so we need to fit a second seat in the XJ, and rear facing. We'd like to rear face as long as possible, so are looking for a seat that won't take up too much room in the limited space that is the back seat of a Cherokee. Any help would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

We have an '88 (not that it makes much of a difference).

 

 

Somehow I don't think that would work for us

 

I have two car seats in mine one rear facing and one forward nothing special just ones we bought at wal-mart they fit without issue with plenty of room.

 

How would they go in a rear end crash ?

 

My girl and I just moved my 11 month old from a Greco infant car seat with the car seat base to the battax convertible car seat. The greco seat tho it worked out very well. It was a stroller car seat combo which was nice and since we had the base there wasn't any extra belting in, just clicks in. By son is 11 months but the avg size of a 15 month old so he out grew that seat. For the bigger seat if you don't already know get one that is side impact tested so you're not leaning over to the middle seat to strap your kid in till baby 2 comes.
