yea man I have done it myself and seen it plenty of times... if you have a trailer hitch all you need is a ball mount and a 1/2 or 3/4 inch pipe flange and bolt it to the ball mount (this requires drilling into the mount) and then how ever tall of black or galvanized pipe you want and with a couple of eye hooks screwed in to the pipe you have yourself a flag pole for the back of the jeep.

unfortunately i dont have access to a camera but i imagine if you get the pieces together you can get a pretty good picture in your head using probably a 5ft piece of black pipe like i said before 1/2 or 3/4". just to let you both know, the flange will be overlapping the ball mount so if you have enough metal on the opposite sides of the bolts you can cut the overlapping pieces off otherwise leave it on, it doesnt look bad either way...i hope it works out for ya

If you use a CB mount you can make your pole out of a length of allthread... with nuts tightened against both sides of the mount. It would be easily reversable this way..
I did just that back in 01 when we had a benefit run after 9/11. Everyone ran a flag on their rig.

here's one my boyfriend did awhile back. It's just round bar welded to some thick square tubing. The flag pole itself is just some conduit with clips on it that slides into the round part. We never drove around with a flag, we just put one up while tailgating.

Thats a good basic starting design ZEEJAY95. But if someone wants to wheel with it the flag wont stay in. but its definately a good platform. Drill a hole towards the top to "lock" in the flexible pole and and your set to go
