First Wheeling Trip
Taking my Jeep on its first wheeling trip tomorrow at Mt. Aetna. What should I do to prepare? I have checked fluids, have tools in case I have an issue, and will be carrying plenty of extra gear (knifes, tents, food, water). I do have a problem though...no spare tire!!!! I also have an air compressor so I can air down and back up rapidly..any tips for this experience?

Get some sort of spare, doesn't have to be great or cost much just something with the correct bolt pattern that holds air. Buy a tire patch kit they are cheap and you stated that you have a compressor.
Make sure you have recovery points, front and rear. Snacks and water for you in case you get to stay longer than you thought you would.

Snacks are covered but its such late notice that the spare prolly wont happen. The patch kit is covered. I dont plan on doing anything wild. Ill be testing out the xj but wont be putting myself in a position where I may get stuck, or roll. The guy im riding with is taking his 2 yr old so im doubting he will go wild either.

My first wheelin trip I got stuck annd when they pulled me out I got mud in the bead. That's somethin you can't fix with a tire patch. Maybe with the compressor you could fix it, but I was glad to have a spare tire. Just a thought
